HALIFAX BED AND BREAKFAST RESTORATION AND RELAXATION IN THE HEART OF HALIFAX. carol.sifton@ns.sympatico.ca We are delighted to share our garden and our gracious, Victorian style home, complete with antiques and original art. We are in quiet residential neighbourhood 10-15 minutes walk to downtown. The entire second floor, with our 3 lovely guest rooms and a den, is reserved for our guests. The Garden Room has an ensuite four piece bath,a queen-sized bed, in- room TV,telephone and a gourmet breakfast for two for $70-$115. The Rose and the Arbor rooms (queen-sized beds) are $60-95 for 2 people including a full gourmet breakfast. The Arbor Room has a queen bed and a comfy queen-sized pull out sofa. The Rose room provides a queen, an antique spool bed single and a writing table for the working traveler. Breakfast is served in our charming dinning room, which is adjoined by a sitting room with fireplace and cable TV/VCR. We don't mean to boast, but our guests do rave about our breakfasts, choices range from the traditional bacon and eggs to our house specialty of crepes with fruit sauce or the famous "Paving Stone" (a crepe with ham, egg and cheese cooked inside), luscious and lite raisin apple bread pudding and the maritime vegetarian (wonderful home baked beans and brown bread).

Since this is a separate room, with a double futon the captain may choose to bunk down here. Alternately, the spacious master bedroom with a queen sized bed or a very comfortable double futon in the living room could be the sleeping quarters of choice. A large eat-in kitchen and a gracious dining room give lots of scope for enjoying that lobster! Other spots for quiet relaxation are the living room or the old-fashioned verandah.
